Who We Are
Who We Are
The Heart of Danville was established in 1986 as a National Main Street program to revitalize and promote Danville, Kentucky’s historic downtown. In its 30 years, the Heart has supported over 100 major renovation projects and fostered a significant increase in downtown business.
Much of the success of the Heart of Danville is the result of the support and involvement of the community. We receive support from the City of Danville, Boyle County, the Economic Development Partnership, local businesses, and residents.
The mission of the Heart of Danville is to promote economic vitality and viability in our downtown and to protect the historic character of our community.
Our vision is to create a unique and vibrant downtown that celebrates history and the arts, promotes small businesses, and sponsors local events to build a community where people want to live, work, and enjoy downtown Danville.
