Preservation Kentucky’s Tour120 is an exciting new statewide heritage tourism program designed to raise awareness of the importance of historic preservation and heritage tourism to Kentucky’s communities. The year-long program launched the weekend of May 18th during National Preservation Month and continues throughout the year, with tours of historic buildings on the same days throughout the state to make a large impact on the public and provide a cohesive branding and promotional opportunity for the sites that participate. The goals are to showcase Kentucky’s diverse historic architecture, increase visitors to historic sites, spark interest in all age groups and get folks out into their own and neighboring communities to explore the built environment that tells our Kentucky story.
